Theodore East Brink, 92, originally of East Kingston, New Hampshire; departed this life on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at his residence. Born in Connecticut on May 23, 1928, to the late William and Martha Brink, he lived most of his life in New England, before moving to Cleveland, a year ago to be closer to his family. Ted proudly served his country in the United States Army, was a hard worker, enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. Along with being a faithful husband, an awesome father, grandfather, great-grandfather; a proud humble American Veteran and he was known to be "a tough old Yankee, with the patience of a saint."
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; daughter, Heather Waugh, several brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Holly Burgoyne of Cleveland, Heidi Martin (Jerry Hershberger) of Maryland; son-in-law Edward Waugh; grandchildren, Lisa (Danny) Brooks, Fredrick Cote, Faith Burgoyne (Jerry Powers), Brian Joshua Burgoyne, Marissa Waugh; great-grandchildren, Haley Brooks, Hannah Brooks, Allison Brooks, McKenzie Powers, Joel Michael Powers; sister, Sally Pfaliffin of Connecticut and several extended family and friends.
A celebration of life and home-going for Theodore East Brink will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2020, in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland funeral home. Jerry Hershberger and Reverend Joe Brooks will be officiating.
