Teddy Arwood Begley

Teddy Begley was born on September 19, 1967 in Lincolnton, NC. He passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at home. Teddy lived at home with his beloved dog, Yoda of 14 years. Where there was Teddy, there was Yoda. Teddy loved Yoda more than anything in the world. Teddy loved spending time with his family and friends. He would never miss an event or gathering if he could help it, He loved having bonfires and aggravating his sister. He loved to cut-up with people. Teddy made friends everywhere he went. Teddy was so excited the day he reconnected with his daughter and grandchildren. He loved them so much and enjoyed visiting them and going to ball games.

Teddy leaves behind his beloved dog, Yoda; daughter; Ashley Kowalczyk and husband Kelly of Dallas, NC; two grandchildren, Noah and Rylie; two sisters, Tammy Kirksey of Sweetwater, TN, Dawn Hoffman of Kings Mountain, NC; brother, Tony Begley of Bessemer City, NC; favorite niece and nephew, Lacey and Thomas Sisk of Sweetwater, TN; two nieces; six nephews; eight great-nieces; nine great-nephews that he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Phyllis and Jimmie Begley; brother, Terry Begley; and best friend, Glen Fuller, who I know was waiting for him at the gates of Heaven.

Family will receive friends from 6:00p.m.- 8:00p.m Friday, June 24, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Etowah, TN. Family and friends will meet 2:00p.m Saturday at Carter Cemetery on Fort Blackmore, VA for graveside services and interment with Reverend Brian Packett officiating. Tony Begley, Thomas Sisk, Logan Collins, Terry Begley Jr., Nick Harris, and Timothy Childers will serve as pallbearers.
