Robert Cofer, 73, of Cleveland passed away peacefully, at his home Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Retired from Bowater after 36 years, and was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, taking car rides to the mountains, fishing and shopping at The Knifeworks and leather shops in Pigeon Forge.
Preceding him in death are parents, Earl and Flossie Cofer; wife of twenty-four years, Brenda Cofer.
Survivors to cherish in his memory include wife, Melinda Faye Cofer of Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberlee (Keith) Hammond, Hilary-little buddy (Jonathan) Snyder of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Don) Wilson; four grandchildren, Brendan Hammond, Brianna Jones, Brooke Hammond, Brady Hammond; five great-grandchildren; niece, Dawn Craig; and many many cousins and friends.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home on Sunday, April 10, 2022 A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m officiated by Reverend Joe Brooks, with interment following in Sunset Memorial gardens.
Jonathan Snyder, Robbie Snyder and Jason Carusillo will serve as pallbearers.
