Oliver Worth King

Oliver Worth King passed away on July 7, 2023. Although Oliver resided in different care facilities in the Chattanooga area during his final years, he was formerly a resident of Lafayette, Georgia.

Oliver is preceded in death by his parents, William Oliver and Willie Agnes King; son, Jeremy King; brother, Larry King. 

Survived by his wife Linda Pink King; daughter, Rachel Saunier; grandchildren, Riley and Samuel Cole Saunier.

Oliver was born July 16, 1938 in Hiawassee, Georgia.  He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 13, 1965 and devoted much of his time throughout his life as a volunteer minister, along with his wife Linda, and shared the truths he learned in the Bible and his hope for the future with others. He enjoyed spending time with family, as well as observing Jehovah God’s creations, especially the mountains and varieties of trees.

A memorial service for Oliver will be held Sunday, July 30th at 4:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1817 Dug Gap Road in Dalton, Georgia.
