Sale Creek, Tennessee - Oliver Ivan Case passed away on October 4, 2020 at the age of 84.
He was born to Oliver and Bertha Case in 1936 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was a graduate of Rose Hulman with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a long time resident of Northwest Indiana. He worked for US Steel for 33 years working his way up to Area Manager of Steel Producing. He then went to work for IMS as a vice president for 6 years. When he retired, he farmed a 200+ acre farm. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars, especially a 1956 Thunderbird, traveling and fishing. Above all else, his family was what brought him the most joy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Calabro) of 55 years; his son David of South Bend, Indiana; daughter Tammy (Jim) of Brazil, Indiana and daughter Deborah of Tennessee. His cherished grandchildren, David, Luke, Rebecca, Emily and Erin; and his treasured great grandchildren, Stella, Berkleigh, Chandler, Madison, Hayden, Jackson, Lucy, Henry, Zoei and Arejay. He is also survived by one of his dear sisters, Irene and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
