Michael Lee Morgan

 Michael Lee Morgan, age 44, of Cleveland, departed this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center. Born on May 21, 1974 in Chattanooga, he had spent the majority of his life in Bradley County and was of the Church of God faith. He was a 1993 graduate of Cleveland High School where he played football and was employed at Flower’s Bakery. Michael enjoyed playing co-ed softball, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer Morgan; and Juanita and Forrest Ramsey.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Julianna Rose Morgan of Chattanooga and Alyssa Susann Mattson of Brentwood; granddaughter, Avery Ann Busby; parents, Mitchell Morgan of Chattanooga, Darlene Dockter of Knoxville and Kim Logan of Chattanooga; grandmother, Eunice Ann Morgan Signal Mountain; siblings, Stacy (Maurice) Goode of Cleveland, Brooke Smith of Chattanooga, Michelle Morgan of Chattanooga, Kelly Dockter of Knoxville, Natalie Dockter of Knoxville, Madelyn Dockter of Knoxville and Ben Dockter of Knoxville. Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Michael Lee Morgan will be held at 5p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 from the Grissom Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Cameron officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be considered to Hospice of Chattanooga.
