Marvin Franklin Sharp

Marvin Sharp, 66, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at a local hospital after a long battle with COPD. Marv was married to Rita Sharp for 28 years. He was a loving and caring husband and dad.  He was a proud dad to two children and proud grandpa to a granddaughter who made his face light up when he saw her. He worked at Siskin Steel for about 25 years, and after PSC Metals until he became ill.  Marv loved his coffee and even in the hospital he would ask the nurses for coffee. He always said he wouldn't fly, but the day he died he got his wings. He is in heaven now with his mother, Virginia Massengale and his father, Grady Sharp and also two brothers, James and Herman Sharp.
 

Marv is survived by wife, Rita Sharp; son, Grady Sharp; daughter, Denise Hicks (Adam); granddaughter, Trinity Ford and her father, Perry Ford; Jean Massengale (Bennett); brothers-in-law, Conrad Zboch (Kathy), and Chris Zboch; sister-in-law, Sharon Zboch and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.
