Linda Faye Ramsey

Linda Faye Ramsey, 67 of Bradley County died on April 20, 2019 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church. As a young woman, she worked to support her children at America Uniform. Later she very much enjoyed sitting a caring for the elderly.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Louse Ramsey and Jessie Dafaniel (J.D.) Ramsey. Her brother Franklin Dafaniel Ramsey.

She was survived by her longtime love, Phillip Payne of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Shane Hatcher of Benton; sons, Timothy Dean Anderson of Manchester and Michael Kevin Anderson of Riceville; grandchildren, Dustin, Cody, Joe, and Arianna Anderson, Nicholas and Sarah Hatcher; four great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Jane Martin of Cleveland. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Linda Faye Ramsey will be held at 3p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from the Grissom Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in the Charleston Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-3p.m. on Tuesday prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Linda to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org.

Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
