Lewis Bernard (Buddy) Davis

Lewis Bernard (Buddy) Davis, 86, of Ooltewah, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020.  He was the Office Manager at Duncan Electric for 20 years and was loved by many.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Buddy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Williams Davis; parents, Odel Bernard Davis and Alma O’Telia Becker Davis; and sister, Marian Louise Davis.

Survivors include his children, Laura (Alan) Fitzke of Chattanooga and Lewis (Dawn) Davis, Jr. of Ringgold; five grandchildren, Sam Prater, Ashley (Justin) Wade, Heather (Aaron) Pack, Bethany Davis and Trey Davis; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews across the US.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Christ United Methodist Church with the Reverend Debbie Stokes and the Reverend David Hall officiating.  An inurnment will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.

His family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to:  Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga TN 37421 in honor of the Lay Ministers who do hospital visitations.
