Jerry Glenn Pike

March 29, 1961 — September 11, 2023

Jerry Glenn Pike, 62, went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2023.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.   He was a native of Polk County, TN.  

Those who went before him were his father, Robert “Bob” Pike and his mother, Dovie Plumley; sister, Wanda “Blondie” Blackwell; brother, Larry “Snowball” Pike and grandson, Bradley McGuire.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia “Ginger” Pike; daughter, Theresa “Nikki” Pike; step daughters, Moneica Woody McGuire of Decatur, Diane Vaughn, Susan Couch; step son, Eddie Couch; brothers, Lester Pike (Norma Jean) of Tellico Plains, Wayne Pike (Brenda) of Calhoun, John Pike (Neese) of Benton, Sammy Pike (Tammy) of Reliance, John McKenzie Pike (Marie) of Benton, Gene Pike (Theresa) of Englewood; sisters, Linda Russell of Calhoun; Donna Steinbach (Jerry) of Calhoun; grandchildren, Jeff McNeely (Misty) of Decatur; Krissi Wooley (Mike) of Athens; Jason Pike (Ashley) of Etowah,  Alex McGuire and Taylor McGuire; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Jason, Gracelynn, Jaxon, Heidi, Goku, Ari, Ricky, Cadence, Stormy and Skyler.  Several well-loved nieces, nephews, adopted kids, friends and extended family that are too many to name.  Special friends, Kenneth “Slick” Thompson and John Casey.  

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held and announced at a later date.
