Jennifer “Jen” Nicole Tilton, 40, passed away as a result of a traumatic brain injury sustained during a motor vehicle accident. She loved her three dogs, Mingo, Ellie Mae, and Diego. Kids were drawn to her; Jen was a hero at a young age having saved a young child’s life, she was very intelligent, and great with numbers. Jen was a former employee of Southeastern Emergency Medical Equipment in Youngsville, NC, and was a former resident of Raleigh, NC. She was a fighter, strong willed, and quick witted.
She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Douglas Cain; two grandfathers, Robert Michael Kremski and Albert Critton Ethridge; and one grandmother, Clotelle Garner.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Cheri “Jerome” Cain Mayard of Jeaneretta, LA; sister and brother-in-law, Latisha “Bruce” Pease of Cleveland; nieces, Alexis and Chloe Pease of Cleveland; step-brother, Tony Mayard of Homer, LA; step-sister, Shanna Smith of Jonesboro, LA; niece and nephew Destiny and Jonathan Smith of Jonesboro, LA; former husband of twenty years, Damon Eugene Tilton of Raleigh, NC; aunt and uncle, James and Tammy Garner of Kilgore, TX; grandmother, JoAnn Ethridge of Trinity, TX; uncle, Robert Michael Kremski of Trinity, TX; and many loving cousins and many, many friends.
There will be a celebration of life service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home and Cremation Services, officiated by Joe Brooks.
Her family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date in Shreveport/Bossier City, LA.
