James Keck

James Elwood Keck, 39, of Knoxville/ Grainger Co. TN, went home to be with the Lord December 15, 2020. Born in Knoxville July 25, 1981, to the late Boyd and Mildred Keck.

He is survived by his son, Scotty Keck; daughter, Braylin Keck and their mother Brandy Carpenter; brother, Marty Keck; Uncle and Aunt, Elwood and Ruth Keck; his chosen family, Karen and Lenny Dunn, Nicole Gibson, Crystal and Dusty Hurst, Taylor Dunn, Logan Dunn;   several nieces, nephews and friends that he loved dearly.

James had a big heart and would help anyone he could. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed! Karen Webber and Jim Banks were also part of his chosen family, taking care of him in his last days while on hospice for nine months; we want to thank you.

To those interested in attending a Celebration of James’s Life we are planning to have it at the river in Blaine, TN one Saturday in January. Once a date is finalized it will be posted on his facebook, and on Brandy Carpenter’s facebook page.

For us this is not “goodbye,” it is “until we see you again at Heaven’s Gates, but until then you will be deeply missed.”
