James Albert Hood, born on October 18, 1936, and a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on May 12, 2024. James led a life filled with diverse interests and talents. He was known for his ingenuity and brilliance, leaving a lasting impression on many.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James "Buddy" Hood and Reba Hood. He is survived by his siblings, Larry and Carolyn Hood; his children, Jeff Hood (Tina) and their sons, Jared and Jamison Hood; and Eddie Hood (Joyce) and their children, Tristan and Elizabeth Hood. James also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a dear friend, Kiesha.

Following cremation, his remains will be received by his brother, Larry Hood, who will also take care of James' much-loved Pomeranian puppies.
