Frankie Russell James, 80, of Calhoun “graduated” to Heaven on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of God at Southside.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie West Russell; husband, William “Bill” James; brothers, John Jr., David and Johnny Russell; and sisters, Dotsie Lemons and Doshie Yokely.
Survivors include her two sons, Danny (Amy) Lemons of Athens and Brian James of Charleston; granddaughter, Jennifer Lemons of Chattanooga; two brothers, James (Margaret) Russell of Calhoun and Matthew (Della) Russell of Etowah; caregiver and niece, Brenda Coates of Calhoun; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Frankie’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with Pastor Clint Pulliam officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
