Florence Sparks Johnson

Florence Sparks Johnson 79, passed away March 8, 2023 at her home in Chattanooga, TN.   She was born September 28, 1943 in Rock House, WV to the late James Howard and Delphia Haynes Sparks.  She lived most of her life on Wonderland Road, Upton, KY with her husband, Eugene Johnson.  She moved to Chattanooga, TN after the death of her husband to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She loved watching "Her Yankees and The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball".   Working in the garden and reading Westerns.   However, her absolute favorite in life was being with Skyler and Brooke.  She lived to be the best "MAMAW" ever for her grandchildren and she was the best at that.

Preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Delphia; husband Eugene Johnson;  brother Norman; sisters Deena and Flora.

Survived by her children, daughter Marcey Johnson Overman (Tracy); son, Morgan Johnson (Kelly); grandson, Skyler; grand-daughter Brooke and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She will be missed by many.   We love you Mamaw!
