Cheri Lynn Mayard

Cheri Lynn Kremski Cain Mayard, 59, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 3, 2022 as a result of a heart attack. She was born In Shreveport, LA on August 24, 1962. Cheri spent most of her time raising her daughters Jennifer and Latisha and many nieces and nephews. She loved children and was always happy to babysit. Cheri had a playful personality and loved to have a good time with family and friends. She also loved to travel and saw most of the country while being a truck driver with former husband Terry Cain.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Nicole Tilton; father, Robert Michael Kremski; step-father Albert Critton Ethridge; former husband, Terry Cain.

Survivors include husband, Jerome Mayard of Jeanerette, LA; daughter, Latisha “Bruce” Pease of Cleveland, TN; step-daughter, Shauna “John” Smith of  Jonesboro, LA; step-son, Anthony Mayard of Homer, LA; grandchildren, Alexis and Chloe Pease of Cleveland, Destiny and Jonathan Smith of Jonesboro, LA; mother, JoAnn Ethridge of Trinity, TX; brother, Robert Michael Kremski of Trinity, TX; along with many loving cousins, nephews, nieces and many, many friends.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Home; followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Eagle Creek Subdivision Clubhouse on Mouse Creek Rd. Cleveland TN

 A memorial service will be announced at a later date in Shreveport/Bossier City, LA.
