Amber Nicole Carney, age 33 of Cleveland, departed this life on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Chattanooga Hospice Care Center. Born on December 2, 1985 in Cleveland she lived in Mississippi for a time and spent the majority of her life in Bradley County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland. A 2004 graduate of Bradley Central High School she attended Cleveland State and Chattanooga State and was a teacher at Charleston Elementary. Amber loved being a mommy to her three beautiful daughters and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cotton and Carolyn “Monie” Harris; Uncle John Morgan; and stepfather, Jimmy Pressley.
Survivors include her daughters, Alexa Key of Cleveland, Adalyn Key of Cleveland, and Brenlynn Pugh of McLain, Mississippi; mother, Lisa Pressley of Cleveland; sister Alicia Carney of Cleveland; brother, Charles(Brittany)Harris of Cleveland ; Aunts Denise Harris of Cleveland and Charlene Harris of Chattanooga; cousin, Jastin Lupo of Chattanooga; and nephew, Bentley Ramage of Cleveland.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Amber will be held at 4p.m Saturday, May 11, 2019 from the Grissom Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Danny Emerson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at the funeral home.
