Obituary: Bennie Hull, age 83, of Madisonville, passed away Thursday morning, April 17, 2014 at his residence. The son of the late Earl and Ruby Colboch Hull, Bennie was born in Morristown, TN and had spent the last 33 years in Monroe County. He was retired after 50 years as a truck driver and was an Army veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed fishing, growing tomatoes, and spending time with his family and friends and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Hull and brother, Keith Hull.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Ruby M. Hull; children, Sandy Wolfe of Russellville, TN, Mike Hull of Russellville, TN, Lisa Hunt of Vonore, TN , and Russell Prater and wife Joy of Madisonville, TN; brother, Gene Hull and wife Pat of Morristown, Mary Ann Mitchell of Morristown , special friend, Dewayne Lemming; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends also survive.
Service: A graveside service will be held 2p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery in Morristown, TN with Pastor Dewayne Lemming officiating and military honors will conclude the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asksthat you please consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society of to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
