Obituary: Mary Lou Head Ferrell, age 76, of Benton, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 2, 2014 at her residence. The daughter of the late Lee David and Bessie Pearl Arnold Head, she was born in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas and lived a majority of her life in Arkansas before moving to Benton in 2010. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Charlene Head and Peggy Thompson; and brother, Donnie Joe Head.
She is survived by her two daughters, Frances Kay Skinner and husband David of McRory , Arkansas and Caroline Hatchel of Benton; brothers, Jim Head of Washington, and Eddie Head of Florida, and sister Kayleen Weatherly of Springdale, Arkansas. Seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and several nephews, nieces and other extended family members also survive.
Service: Private family services will be held at a later date.
