Obituary: Kenneth Arnold Dickson, age 65, of Riceville, passed away Tuesday , March 4, 2014 at his residence. Born in Gary, Indiana, he has lived the last 4 years in McMinn County after retiring from the Pinelles County, FL Government. He was a member of the Local Union 308 in St Petersburg and member of the National Brotherhood of Electricians. He was a Vietnam veteran serving his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was an active member of Double Springs Baptist Church. He never met a stranger and had a servant’s heart for people and was willing to help anyone in need.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Ronk Littell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Catherine Dickson of Riceville; son, Everette Dickson of Ocala, FL; father, Arnold Dickson, brother, Lawrence Dickson of Safety Harbor, FL, and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Hanlon of Florida. Several nieces nephews and other extended family members and dear friends also survive.

Service: Private family services will be held in Florida at a later date.
