Obituary: Patsy Marie Plemons Ratledge, age 64, of Athens, passed away Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014, at a local hospital. The daughter of the late Ella Baker Plemons , Pat was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid reader and loved to collect angels.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Dora McDonald.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Ross Ratledge of Athens; children, Glenn Swann and wife Holly , Kelly Plott, and Eric Lee Ratledge and wife Tasha ;step-daughter, Ramona Boul and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Bethany Tilley and husband Nathan, Jacob Plot , Lauren Swann, Trey Swann , Makayla Dover, Madison Dover all of Cleveland, Justin Weir of Athens; brothers, Jerry Plemons and wife Wanda of Etowah, and Ed Plemons and wife Odie of Etowah; and sister-in-law, Faye Reed of Athens. Four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
Service: The family will hold a private memorial service on March 16, 2014 with Reverend Ron Cluster officiating.
