Obituary: RHONDA MICHELL BRIGHT MCDANIEL, age 42, of Madisonville, passed away, Wednesday, Jannuary 8, 2014, at her sister’s residence. She was born in Loudon, spent the next few years in Georgia before spending the last several years- in Madisonville. She was of the Church of GOD faith and was employeed by Shaw Industries. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she mostly enjoyed modeling. She won Miss Budweiser in a Chattanooga contest and went on to compete in Florida. She modeled in the Spain and Accelerator Magazines.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Strickland Bright, and half sister Tammy Denise Bright.
She is survived by children, Spencer Bright of Old Fort, Sierra Cook of Sweetwater, Connor Bright of Old Fort, and Jadan McDaniel of Old Fort; Father, Clifton Bright; brother, Dwight Bright and wife Amy of Madisonville; sister, Shelia Swindell and husband Steven of Old Fort; nieces and nephews, Brian Jolly, Brianna Jolly, Gracie Swindell, Clifton Bright, and Dwight Bright. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members survive.
Service: A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Little Tocqua Cemetery with Rev Allan Watson officiating.
The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Sallie Cate, RN and the staff of Amedysis Hospice for their compassionate care. Also a special thanks for the gracious donations for Rhonda’s care.
