Obituary: Sherry Smith Kirkland, age 66, of Loudon, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013, at her residence. The daughter of the Wilfred and Marjorie Hickman Smith, Sherry was born in Harriman, TN and has lived back in Harriman for the past 26 years. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kirkland.
She is survived by her children, Christine Porras and husband Bernie of Loudon, Kelli Poole and husband Victor of Harriman, Joseph Kirkland and wife Paradise of Knoxville, Jessica Kirkland of Loudon, and Joshua Kirkland of Loudon; grandchildren, Dakota Jones, Nilo Porras, Kristen Poole, and Kyler Kirkland; great-grandson Jude Jones; sisters and brother, Anita Stallings and husband Donald of Rockwood, Teresa Hand and husband Robert of Maryland, David Smith and wife Brenda of Houston, TX, Angie Smith of Roswell, NM, and Lisa Moneymaker and husband Conley of Karnes. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.
Service: The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
