Obituary: MATTIE LEE ROBERTS LEWIS, age 88, of Englewood, passed away Tuesday morning at a local healthcare facility. Born in Van Buren County, TN , she spent most of her life in McMinnville before moving to McMinn County in 1969. She was a member of the Benton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is preceded in death by her husband Theodore R. Lewis; parents, William and Margaret Bouldin Roberts, and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son William T. Lewis and wife Elaine; grandchildren, Jamey Lewis and wife Pahola, and Nichole Lewis; great-grandson Ethan Lewis all of Englewood, and Sister Velma Watson of Paynesville, OH. Several nieces, nephews, and extended family members also survive.
Service: A Memorial Service will be held at 4p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Benton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
