Obituary: Angela “Angie” Weber Young age 51 of Etowah was called to Heaven on January 8,2014. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Angie was a loving mother, daughter, and a faithful friend. She was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church and most recently attended Englewood Church of God. Angela was named after Angel Rood. She was “ Big Angel and Angie was “ Little Angel”. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, swimming, cooking, and laughing with a smile that would light up a room. Her passions of life were her faith, family, and friends. She will forever missed, but forever remembered by all that knew her. She touched many lives and hearts. She will live through her daughter, mother, and through our hearts.
She is survived by her daughter, Branigan Young; mother, Joann Cole Johnson; father Bill Weber; brother Dirk Weber; special friends Frank and Pam Christianson. Several close aunts, uncles, and cousin also survive.
Service: Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2014, from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home.
Graveside service 2:00 pm Sunday, January 12,2014, at Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
