Obituary: ROBERT MICHAEL “ BOB” HINSEY, age 60, of Athens passed away early Wednesday morning, December 4, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of Sacramento, CA and had lived in McMinn County the past 10 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving as a pilot.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lewis Hinsey.
He is survived by his wife , Carla Beck Hinsey of Athens; mother, Arlowene Stark Hinsey of Sacremento, CA; daughters, Danielle Hinsey of Sprinfield , MO, Katie Hinsey of Wichita, KS, and Carrie Lasaro of Nebraska; stepdaughter, Jessica Neal of Oklahoma City, OK; stepson Josh Neal of Lubbock , TX; twin sister Kelley Hinsey Haley and husband Bob of Everett, Washington, and 6 grandchildren. Several extended family members and friends also survive.
Service: A graveside service with military honors at Chattanooga National Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
