Obituary: JEANNE CAROL SHEPPARD, age 62, of Englewood, passed away Sunday morning at Woods Memorial Hospital. Born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Elmer and Thelma James Sheppard, Jeanne lived the past 30 years in McMinn County and was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a loving mother ad wonderful spouse, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and especially fishing.
She is preceded in death by her son Joshua Scott Dishaw.
She is survived by her fiancée, Paul Woods, Jr. of Englewood; children , Jason Dishaw and fiancée Sharon Derrick of Englewood, Jennifer Hall and husband Bobby of Etowah, Jeanne Wood and fiancée Johnny Diaz of Englewood, Theresa Ann Wood of Baxely , GA, Shelia Faye Woods, Robbie Lee Woods, Paul Woods III, Brenda Dupree, Dorothy Woods, Paula Woods, Sandra Woods all of Jacksonville, FL, and Joey Woods of Englewood; sisters Syble Parker and husband Tommy of Yulee , FL, and Sylvia Wingate of Englewood; 30 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
Service: A Celebration of Jeanne’s Life will be held 7P.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Sneed officiating . A gathering of friends will be from 5-7P.M. prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home .
