Obituary: ROSA LOCKE SHELL, age 54, of Etowah, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Woods Memorial Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she had retired from the business office of Woods Memorial Hospital after 25 years and was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband Greg Shell; maternal grandparents, Charles and Ella Buckner, and paternal grandparents, Orville and Amanda Locke.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Shell Roads and husband Brian of Etowah, grandchildren, Zachary and Tyler Roads of Etowah; parents Eugene and Georgia Buckner Locke ; brothers , Chris Locke of Etowah, Charles ( Susan ) Locke of Riceville, Tommy ( Kitty) Locke of Athens, and Jimmy ( Jacqueline) Locke of Etowah; nieces Caroline, Kassidy, Lilly, and Jordan, and nephew Jackson Locke. Several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
Service: Funeral services will be conducted at 8P.M. Thursday, November 21, 2013 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Hensley officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 11.A.M on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Conasauga Cemetery with Chaplain Aaron Pierce officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5- 8P.M. prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home
