Obituary: ALFRED STANLEY SHADDEN , age 80, of Englewood, passed away Friday morning, November 15, 2013 at Woods Memorial Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was the owner of Bargain Used Cars for over 50 years and was of the Church of GOD faith. He was known as a practical joker, loved spending time with his family and friends, and always enjoyed fixing and trading cars even after retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Gladys Ingram Shadden, and a sister, Dorothy Wilson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Billie Ruth Bowers Shadden; first wife, Zelma Edmondson of Englewood; daughters, Vickie Vaughn and husband Mitchell of Englewood, Joy Shadden Crockett of Athens , Tana Daugherty and husband Andy of Englewood, and Robbie Shadden of Englewood; step-daughter Sharon Scoggins and husband Mike of Englewood; grandchildren, Tobin Martin and wife Tiffany, Lauren McKee, Shelby Crockett Morrow and husband Coty, Judd Daugherty and Jake Davis and wife Dana; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Aidan McKee, and Tinley and Kytalin Davis; twin brother Austin Shadden and wife Louise of Etowah. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and special friends also survive.

Service: A graveside service will be conducted 1:30P.M. Sunday, November 17,2013 at Mars Hill Cemetery with Rev. Scott Cardin officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
