Obituary: Harold Ralph Cook, age 78, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013, at his residence. The son of the late Johnny and Kathleen Duncan Cook, he was a native of McMinn County and has lived the past 35 years in Bradley County. He was retired from Ryder Truck Rental and was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marchie Geneva Cook; daughter Cynthia Kay Cook; sons Bobby Joe Coleman and Harold Dwight Cook; sister, Barbara Faye Brantley, and brothers, Ray, Eugene, and Robert Cook

He is survived by sons, Kenneth Ray Coleman and wife Sharon of Athens, Perry Wayne Cook of Athens, Randall Cook and wife Gabrielle of Cleveland, Larry Cook of Athens, and John Franklin Cook of Benton; sisters, Joann Dale of Rossville, Pauline Martin and husband Jim of Chattanooga, and Anna Wicker and husband Lynn of Niota; brothers, Charles Cook and wife Jean of Chattanooga, Glenn Cook and wife Reba of Cleveland, and Gary Cook and wife Jana of Cleveland. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends also survive.

Service: Funeral services will be conducted 7p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Bunch officiating.

A graveside service will be 11a.m. Tuesday at the Cottonport Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
