Obituary: Deborah Denise Williams, age 60, of Riverdale, GA, formerly of Etowah, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013. She was born in McMinn County to the late Charles and Margaret Smith Williams and has spent the last 38 years in the Atlanta, GA area. She was a member of the Fellowship of Faith Church and retired from Wallace Printing Company in Atlanta. Her passions in life were her Faith, Family and Friends.
She is preceded in death by her sisters Jacqueline McDermott and Annie Jewell Smith, and a brother Charles Williams.
She is survived by her son Willie Lamont Blackwell and his wife Deshawna of McDonough , GA; grandchildren, Kayla Taylor, Jalen, Dylan, April, and Crystal Blackwell of McDonough, GA; sisters, Dorothy Leamon and Linda McDermott and husband Luther of Etowah. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members also survive.
Service: A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held at 3P.M Saturday, October 19 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Reverend James Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Salem Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
