Obituary: Rosemary Meadows, age 52, of Athens, passed away Friday September 27, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center. A native of Sweetwater, she lived most of her life in Athens. She attended the Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle and was a longtime employee of Wal Mart. Her smiles and loving heart will be sadly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.B. ad Opal Letner Meadows, and a sister Brenda Swafford.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Arielle Williams of Athens; granddaughter Lily Williams of Athens; brother J.B. Meadows and wife Barbara of Ten Mile; sisters, Margaret Brady and husband Bud of Decatur, Phyllis Butcher of Georgia, Lois Christian of Cleveland, and Diane Cook and husband Ronnie of Athens. Many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
Service: Funeral services will be conducted 3P.M. Sunday, September 29, 2013 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Bros. Anthony Wynn and Manuel Brady officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
