Sophie was a special person who saw the beauty in nature. Her home was expertly arranged and reflected her wide interests. Her flower arrangements were outstanding. She loved to fish in ponds and creeks particularly in Meigs Count and was an excellent piscatorial contestant. She loved to garden and enjoyed the spring as much as she could do so. We who know her best, will miss her for she was always “up for the game.”
Service: As her wish, she will be cremated and placed at a pond on a hillside in Meigs County for a private ceremony.
She loved a short quotation which is follows:
Life is Eternal, and
Love is immortal ,and
What we call death is only the Horizon,
Beyond which we cannot see.
