Obituary: Gloria Jean Carneal, age 70, a resident of Riceville and formerly of Stevensville, MI. passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Brookewood Nursing Home in Decatur. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Stevensville, MI.
Ms. Gloria is the daughter to the late Alex and Mary Rosenthal. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Gary Rosenthal.
Survivors include her husband of forty three years, Mr. David Carneal of Riceville; one son, Todd Carneal of Riceville; two grandchildren, Shyanne Carneal of Paoli, IN., and Austyn Carneal of Athens; two sisters, Delores Spletzer of Clearwater, FL., Carol Schmidtke of St. Joseph, MI.; one brother, Duane Rosenthal and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by several close friends.
