Obituary: Jamie Marie Brown, age 39, of Red Bank, MS, and formerly of Etowah, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013, in Memphis, TN, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Bradley County, she lived in Red Bank , MS for a majority of her life and was of the Pentacostal faith. Jamie was a caring and loving person who never met a stranger and will be terribly missed by all who Knew he.
She is preceded in death by her father James Brown.
She is survived by her partner, David Franklin Yates of Red Bank, MS; daughters, Kelsey Marie Brown Yates of Red Bank, MS and Courteny Renee’ Henson of Memphis, TN; mother Linda Gail Watson and husband Wayne “W.L.” Watson of Etowah; sisters, Tiresa Carlisle and husband Stephen of Greenville, SC and Angel Brown of Cleveland; step- brother Jason Watson of Athens, and step-sister Juanita Watson of Athens. Several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins also survive.
Service: Funeral services will be conducted at 4p.m. Sunday September 1, 2013 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with the Reverend Randall VanHoose officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 2-4p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
