Obituary: Francine Colette Conklin Stevens, age 62, a resident of Etowah, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013, at her residence. She lived in Haskell, NJ, for most of her life and moved to McMinn County in 2009 to be closer to her family. She was a proud member of the Parkstown Porch Club.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Conklin, and sister, Millie Conklin.
She is survived by her partner, Andrew Puzio, Etowah, TN; mother, Solange Conklin; one daughter, Bonnie Stevens and boyfriend, Steve Edwards, Etowah, TN; two sisters, Juanita Conklin, Constableville, NY, and Colette Parr, Las Vegas, NV; and one brother, Sherman Conklin, Haskell, NJ.
Service: A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Lay Speaker Robert Cobb officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday,
July 17, 2013, prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the East Tennessee Pit Bull Rescue at www.etnpitbullrescue.org.
