Obituary: Shirley Harris Goins, age 65, of Madisonville formerly of Athens, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. A native of Monroe County, She has lived in Athens the past couple of years before moving back to Monroe County a few months ago. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Pearl Robinette Harris, and brothers, Bobby Joe and Clarence Harris.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jerry Goins; daughter, Lisa Self and husband Joe; grandchildren , Kevin and Kelsey Worley; and a great-grandchild, Hunter Worley, all of Madisonville.
Service: The Family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
