Obituary: James Donald Beasley, age 70, of Englewood formerly of Athens, passed away Tuesday, June 11,2013, at University of Tennessee Medical Center. A native of Radford, Virginia, he has lived in McMinn County for the past 22 years .
James attended Englewood Church of God and was a proud veteran of the Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Jesse and Mildred Humphries Beasley and a brother; Charles Beasley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carol Conley Beasley of Englewood; sons, William James Beasley of Norwak, Ohio, Luke Wesley Beasley of Englewood, and John Heath (Amanda) Beasley of Englewood, grandchildren; Lilly Beasley, Ashley Beasley ,Alexis Beasley, Brandon Lones , Joshua Nichols, Hope Caruso, Hannah Caruso, and Sammy Caruso, sister; Ellen Beasley, sister-in-law; Charlotte Beasley both of Radford ,Virginia. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Service: Funeral services will be conducted at 7p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Shadrick officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m Friday at the funeral home.
