Obituary: Jessie Amber Armstrong , age 31, of Englewood, passed away Monday May 6, 2103 at her residence. She was a native of McMinn County moving to Jacksonville, Florida for a few years before moving back to the area in 1998. She was a graduate of McMinn Central High School and was of the baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Armstrong, Jr.; paternal grandparents James Sr. and Beulah Armstrong, and maternal grandparents Susan and Fred Henderlight .
She is survived by her Fiance Jonathan Riggs; daughter Courtney Noel Riggs; mother Elisa Henderlight Armstrong all of Englewood; sisters Kellie Armstrong of Plainville, GA and Jamie Armstrong of Jacksonville, Fl; brothers Jeff Armstrong of Etowah and Tony Armstrong of Chattanooga. An uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Service: A celebration of Jessie’s life will be held 3p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home
The family will receive friends from 2-3p.m Saturday at the funeral home.
