Obituary: Garrrett ‘ Pops” Partin ,age 72, of Englewood passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Athens regional; Medical Center. The son of the late Alonzo and Lucy Perty Partin, he was a native of Williamsburg ,KY and has lived in Englewood since the past 20 years. He was most recently employed with D &S Escavating.
He is preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by daughters; Patty Smith and husband Jerry of Englewood, Sue Buck and husband Eldon of Englewood, son Sam Partin and wife Tiffany of Greenville, TN; grandchildren, Roy King , Chrystal Nicole King, Daniel Quinn, Jacob Partin, Tyler Partin, Brayden Partin, Naveah Partin, =Shannon Cautore, andAmanda Baker; great grandchildren , Cheyenne, Zachary, Damien, Royal Lee, McKenzie, Monte, and Harley. 6 sisters, 4 brothers and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Service: Funeral services will be conducted 2p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Jim Headings officiating. Internment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12- 2pm Wednesday.
