Obituary: Jimmie “Buddie” Hollifield, age 71, resident of Etowah, TN, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, in an Etowah Healthcare Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from M&M Mars in Cleveland, member of the Chemical Workers Union, member of Beta Club and Science Club. She was a very caring and giving person and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hollifield and one son, Freddie Lynn Hollifield.
She is survived by her loving grandson, William Zachary “Zach” Hollifield, Ormond Beach, FL and several cousins.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Etowah with Dr. Shane Arnold officiating. Interment will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery.
Service: The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Tuesday, March 5 at the funeral home prior to the service.
