Obituary: Tony Lynn Meadows, age 50, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. The son of the late Carl Franklin Meadows, Sr. and Peggy Louise Richardson Meadows, He was born in Athens and spent the majority of his life in Meigs County. He was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Joe Meadows.
He is survived by sons, Elijah Meadows of Madisonville and Cody Miller of Decatur; brother, Kenny “Buff” Meadows of Decatur; half-sisters, Renee’ Wilson and husband Chris of Riceville and Lisa Meadows of Pennsylvania. Several other extended family members and friends also survive.
Service: A graveside service will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Pisgah Cemetery.
