Obituary: Danny Michael “ Mike” Wilcox, age 49, of Reliance, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. A native and lifelong resident of Polk County, he was a member of Archville Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Wilcox and a daughter, Sarah Wilcox.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie R. Wilcox of Reliance; children, Tasha Wiede of Wisconsin, Michael L. Wilcox of Wisconsin, Tristian Staton of Benton, Raina Wilcox of Reliance, and Alexis Wilcox of Reliance; and five grandchildren. Several other extended family members and friends also survive.
Service: A celebration of Mike’s Life will be conducted at 8p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Dills officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 2p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Archville Baptist Church Cemetery for the committal service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-8p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
