Obituary: John Michael Moses, age 44, of Englewood, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, at his residence. Born in Kansas, he spent most of his life in McMinn County and was of the Baptist faith. He was a graduate of McMinn Central High School and the Nashville Auto Diesel College. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pete and Mary Torres; and paternal grandparents, Sam Houston and Ellen Moses.
He is survived by his parents, Troy and Mary Lou Torres Moses of Englewood; brothers, Troy Moses II and wife Crystal of Englewood and Jason Moses of Johnson City; niece, Maria; and nephews, Troy III, Trajan and Talon. Several other extended family members and friends also survive.
Service: Private family services will be held at a later date.
