Obituary: Stoney Stewart, age 51, of Etowah, passed away Saturday February 28, 2015, at his residence. Born in Dunlap, he had spent the last ten years in McMinn County . He enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and spending time with the love of his life, his wife Darlene.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Stewart.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Darlene Smith Stewart of Etowah; daughter, Sissy Stewart of Dunlap; and best friend, James Wolfe of Tellico Plains. Four sisters, several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
Service: Family and friends will assemble at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 to process to Conasauga Cemetery for a graveside service at 2p.m. Friday
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
