Obituary: Laurie Marcella Karl, age 44, of Etowah, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, at her residence. Born in Chicago, IL, she had spent the majority of her life in McMinn County and was of the Church of GOD faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert Edward and Karl and Georgiana Buckner.
She is survived by sisters, Carrie McNabb and husband Kendall of Dalton, GA and Christine Buckner and husband Thomas of Etowah; and brother, Craig White of Georgetown. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends also survive.
Service: Family and friends will meet at 11a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015, at Mars Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery for graveside services.
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
