Obituary: Kay M. Lowe, age 68, of Niota, passed away Sunday evening, February 15, 2015, at her residence. The daughter of the late James Earl and Cecile Merideth Reeves Walker, she was born in Virginia and had lived the majority of her life in McMinn County. She was retired from Thomas and Betts and attended Beaulah Chapel Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a baby sister, Yvonne Walker.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Moore and husband Robert of Niota, and Kathy Underwood and husband Tom of Dayton, TN; seven grandchildren, Brooke Moore, Spencer White, Tylar White, Dustin White, Casey McMurray, Whitney McMurray, and Tori Underwood; six great-grandchildren, Dwaine, Blake, Larryjames, Chevyjames, Rylee, and Ella; sisters, Earline Pardue and husband Robert of Cleveland, Rhonda Stokes and husband Robert of Jasper, TN, Paula Walker of Sweetwater, and Lynn Johnson of Sweetwater. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and good friends also survive.
Service: A private family service will be held at a later date.
