Obituary: Robert “Bob” Graap, age 67, of Calhoun, passed Monday evening, February 2, 2015, at a local hospital. Born in New York, he had spent the last five years in McMinn County. He was retired from International Paper and was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed landscaping, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Peters Graap.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathy Miess Graap of Calhoun ;sons, Jeff Graap of Buffalo, New York, John Sniatecki of Gainesville, Georgia, and Dean Sniatecki of Hutto , Texas; grandchildren, Saylor Sniatecki, Isabelle Sniatecki, Jenee Graap, Jenelle Graap, Jeffrey Graap, Jr., and Queintin Graap; father, William “ Bill” Graap ; and sister Kathy Allford of Indian Trail, North Carolina. Several other extended family and friends also survive.
Service: A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
