Obituary: Wayne Edward King, age 87, of Reliance, passed away Tuesday morning, January 20, 2015, at a local healthcare facility. A native and lifelong resident of Polk County, he was retired from Magic Chef and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church of Benton. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Charity King; wife, Bonnie Farmer King; and all of his siblings.
He is survived by two step-children and several step-grandchildren as well as other extended family and friends.
