Obituary: Donald Charles Dockery, age 64, of Madisonville, passed away Sunday morning, June 22, 2014 at a Knoxville hospital. A native of McMinn County, he lived for the past 20 years in Monroe County. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Wanda McDonald Dockery; brother, Darrell Dockery; and father-in-law, Marcus Gentry.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Dockery of Madisonville; sons, Jamey and Joey Dockery of Athens; son and daughter-in-law by marriage Johnny and Sharon Rogers of Roxboro, N.C.; special aunt, Sue McDonald; mother-in-law, Bonnie Gentry, and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Pat Gentry.
Service: Don requested that there be no formal visitation or service.
The family would like to thank DaVista Dialysis Center, Dr Ali, and Dr Ben Coffey for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation.
